Gopi buys a fish from a shop for his aquarium. The shopkeeper taks out one fish at random from a tank containing 5 male fish and 8 female fish (see figure given) What is the probability that the fish taken out is a male fish ? Select the correct answer from above options

Number of male fish = 5 Number of female fish = 8 ∴ Total number of fish, n(S) = 5 + 8 = 13 Probability that the fish taken out is male, n(E) = 5
