Calculate the conduction current density when the resistivity of a material with an electric field of 5 units is 4.5 units. (a) 22.5 (b) 4.5/5 (c) 5/4.5 (d) 9.5 I got this question by my college director while I was bunking the class. Enquiry is from Loss Tangent in section Maxwell Equations of Electromagnetic Theory Select the correct answer from above options Electromagnetic Theory questions and answers, Electromagnetic Theory questions pdf, Electromagnetic Theory question bank, Electromagnetic Theory questions and answers pdf, mcq on Electromagnetic Theory pdf, electromagnetic theory book pdf, electromagnetic theory pdf notes, electromagnetic theory lecture notes, electromagnetic theory of light, maxwell electromagnetic theory, electromagnetic theory proposed by,electromagnetic theory engineering physics, electromagnetic theory nptel

Correct choice is (c) 5/4.5 For explanation I would say: The conduction current density is the product of the conductivity and the electric field. The resistivity is the reciprocal of the conductivity. Thus the required formula is Jc = σ E = E/ρ = 5/4.5 units.
