The correct choice is (d) 12 Ω Explanation: Using KVL in loop 1, we get, 100 – 14I – 30 = 0 Or, I = \frac{70}{14} = 5 A Then, VP – VQ = 14I – (15-I).1 = 70 – 10 = 60 V ∴ R = \frac{60}{10-I} = \frac{60}{5} = 12 Ω.
