Five cards— the ten, jack, queen, king and ace of diamonds. (i) Probability of getting queen = 1 5 1 (ii) If the queen is drawn and put aside, the probability of getting other cards = 4. (∵ 5 – 1 = 4) ∴ a) Probability that the card is ace = 1 4 1 b) Probability that the card is queen = 0 4 = 0 0
