Calculate the energy when the magnetic intensity and magnetic flux density are 15 and 65 respectively. (a) 755 (b) 487.5 (c) 922 (d) 645 I got this question during an interview. My question comes from Magnostatic Energy topic in section Magnetostics of Electromagnetic Theory Select the correct answer from above options Electromagnetic Theory questions and answers, Electromagnetic Theory questions pdf, Electromagnetic Theory question bank, Electromagnetic Theory questions and answers pdf, mcq on Electromagnetic Theory pdf, electromagnetic theory book pdf, electromagnetic theory pdf notes, electromagnetic theory lecture notes, electromagnetic theory of light, maxwell electromagnetic theory, electromagnetic theory proposed by,electromagnetic theory engineering physics, electromagnetic theory nptel

Correct answer is (b) 487.5 Easy explanation: The magnetic energy can also be written as E = 0.5 μH^2 = 0.5 BH, since B = μH. On substituting B = 65 and H = 15 we get E = 0.5 x 65 x 15 = 487.5 units.
