Right answer is (b) 8 mH To elaborate: We know that, the mutual inductance M is given by, M = k\sqrt{L_1 L_2} Given that, k = 0.4, L1 = 20 mH and L2 = 20 mH So, M = 0.4\sqrt{20 X 20} = 8 mH.
