Power plants convert resources such as oil, coal, water, sun, wind and natural gas into electricity. For this conversion to take place, high-pressure water or steam activates a turbine that is attached to a generator. This turning movement rotates a large magnet inside of loops of wire. As the magnet spins inside these coils of wire, electricity is produced
