Correct Answer - 1108.2g Tb(H2O at 750mm of pressure =99.63∘C , Tb( solution )=100∘C ΔTb=100-96.63∘=3.37∘ ( Note the difference in Kelvin and degree centrigrade is same ) W1=500g,Mw1(H2O)=18gmol-1 Mw2( Sucrose)=342gmol-1,W2=? Applying the formula, ΔTb=Kb×m=Kb× W2×1000 Mw2×W1 (Kb=0.52Kkgmol-1) 3.37k=0.52× W2×1000 342×500 ∴W2= 3.37K×342gmol-1×500g 0.52Kkgmol-1×1000 =1108.2g
