(i) Outcomes (X) = 1,2,3,4,5,6 In a dice throw number greater than 4 are 5,6 So So total number of favorable outcomes = 2 So P(X>4) = 2/6 (ii) Outcomes (X) = 1,2,3,4,5,6 Number less than or equal to 4 are 1,2,3,4 So total number of favorable outcomes = 4 P(X ≤ 4) = 4/6
