An experiment consists of recording boy-girl composition of families with 2 children.(i) What is the sample space if we are interested in knowing whether it is a boy or girl in the order of their births?(ii) What is the sample space if we are interested in the number of girls in the family? (i)If B represents a Boy and G represents a Girl, then the sample space will be, S1={(B,B),(B,G),(G,B),(G,G)} (ii)From previous part, we can see that S1 contains 0 girl, 1 girl and 2 girls. So, sample space S2={0,1,2}.
